Experiences:
I have been involved in youth work and community development for the past 2 decades. This has evolved into working with young parents at KYS providing social support and assisting to increase knowledge, skills and confidence in their parenting which helps build strong healthy relationships in their families. I am trained in Triple P Parenting Programme which I implement in my role in KYS.
Loves:
Spending time with my whanau – beach fun, bush walks and new travelling experiences!
I enjoy morning runs, good coffee, and being creative. I am passionate about addressing injustice in our world – specifically the trafficking of children and women. The tension is always what can I do? Being informed and supporting coal face work is my starting point! We will just have to see from here….!
